Black Oystercatcher Wines

Black Oystercatcher Wines, part of the Elim wine ward found on the Agulhas Plain of South Africa, recently selected a PocketMedia® Solution’s Z-CARD® to target middle to upper-class consumers and attract food and wine enthusiasts looking for an action-packed weekend away.

Black Oystercatcher is a family-run boutique wine farm. The boutique wines offer crisp yet elegant fruity flavours which are formed by the cool coastal winds, the unique Elim soil and the owner’s distinct wine-making philosophy.

The content of the Z-CARD® provides visitors to Black Oystercatcher and tourists with a detailed map which includes cycling routes, and information about all of the attractions in the area. It also details the various wines available from Black Oystercatcher.

“We are situated in an area which has a lot more to offer than just wine. Our Z-CARD® brings across that the entire family can enjoy an adventure filled weekend away,” says Dirk Human, the owner, winemaker and viticulturist of Black Oystercatcher.

The cards will be distributed to all the tourism offices in the area. The Z-CARD®will also be given to all bike shops and biking groups, hotels, guesthouses and B&Bs in the area. Cape L’Agulhas Tourism supplies all incoming traffic with a visitors pack during the festive season, and the Z-CARD® will be placed into each of these packs as well.

“The Z-CARD® format enabled us to offer a lot of information that people will want to keep with them, in a suitable and manageable size. We were looking for a quality product that can help build our brand,” adds Human.
