CLE Communications, a PR agency based in Cape Town, achieved over R2.2 million worth of publicity for the Absa Life Xtreme Ultimate X festival, which took place on Saturday 18 February, 2012 at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
Broadcast coverage included an insert on SABC News and The Expresso Morning Show as well as radio mentions on KFM, Cape Talk and Goodhope FM. Extensive online and print coverage appeared in the Cape Times, Weekend Argus, The Tygerburger, People’s Post, The Next 48 Hours, Getaway, Bizcommunity, The Daily Voice and all the Cape Community newspapers.
The country’s only and largest action sporting event featured death-defying stunts and dare-devil twists performed by the kings of extreme BMX, FMX, skate and wake boarding in South Africa.Over 4000 people attended the adrenaline-fuelled event to watch 23 of the country’s best extreme athletes in action. The festival, now in its third year, is produced by Old School Productions and Stretch Experiential Marketing.
CLE Communications also manages the publicity for Stretch Experiential Marketing; Flexi-Sports™; ZuluWaters Game Reserve in Kwa-Zulu Natal; The River Club golf and conference centre; and Lula Fabrics.
