Samsung & PenQuin educate

PenQuin International, together with its client Samsung has launched a new range of business products to Pinnacle, a main distributor of Samsung products. Instead of death by PowerPoint, less conventional methods like a beatboxer and memory expert were used. 

The Johannesburg event was attended by 120 of Pinnacle’s resellers who were keen to hear, see and experience Samsung Business’s new range. Six of the exclusive products were the main attractions of the evening, namely the Samsung 9 Series Notebook; Samsung RC510 Notebook; Samsung ML3710 Printer; Samsung CLP620ND Printer; Samsung Central Station and Samsung LED Monitor. 

PenQuin ensured that the evening’s MC and guest speaker, well known TV presenter and actor, Michael Mol, kept guests intrigued with talk about the technology dependant world we live in and the benefits of using Samsung products.
To keep guests entertained, SA BeatBoxing Champ, ‘Morgan the Beatboxer’ used his unusual skills to introduce the six main Samsung products of the evening. 

“It’s important to keep launch events like these fresh and exciting,” says Greg Kockott of PenQuin. “Who would dispute that a beatboxer, creating individual songs for each product, isn’t different and exciting?” 

Eventing is one media channel that PenQuin uses to achieve ROI for clients. It is all about the most effective way to communicate with a defined target audience. There is no benefit to a client if the audience cannot recall what was discussed or showcased and every effort is made for each event to be a memorable experience. 

“In addition to the musical antics, Durban and Cape Town guests were treated to memory expert Kevin Horsley who helped guests to easily remember and recall each of the six featured Samsung products in a fun and novel way,” says Greg.
