The Social Housing Regulatory Authority (SHRA) recently selected a square, custom-sized Z-CARD® to generate awareness around the national regulatory authority which was established in August 2010, in terms of the Social Housing Act.
“SHRA was established to promote the development and awareness of social housing, by providing an enabling environment for the growth and development of the social housing sector,” explains SHRA’s Rheena Hansrajh.
“Social housing provides good quality rental accommodation for the upper end of the low income market,” she adds.
The Z-CARD® details all of the functions of the SHRA and explains its two investment programmes namely, the Capital Investment Programme and the Institutional Investment Programme.
Whilst the Capital Investment Programme manages and administers capital investments on behalf of SHRA; the Institutional Investment Programme provides financial assistance to social housing institutions to gear up capacity. The Z-CARD® also details the SHRA’s Regulation Programme.
“As the SHRA is a relatively new organisation we were looking for a communication solution that was not only able to explain our functions and processes to our target audience, but which also makes it easy for them to refer to for information and guidance,” she adds.
