The Stellenbosch University’s Central Analytical Facilities (CAF), with the aid of Aletta Jordaan Communications and Jenny Frost Design, recently contracted PocketMedia® Solutions to produce a credit card-sized Z-CARD® to spread the word about the CAF and the services it offers.

“CAF’s aim is to ensure the optimal utilisation of the multi-user research equipment in the service of the research community of Stellenbosch University, and the South African research and development sector in general,” says Maryke Hunter-Hüsselmann, from Stellenbosch University.

CAF selected the Z-CARD® as it was looking for a compact and portable means of communication that it could use to provide details about its seven operational units and a map detailing the locations on the campus.

The Z-CARD®s are given to all possible users of CAF’s facilities within Stellenbosch University’s research community, other higher education institutions in South Africa, and international users.

“The Z-CARD® represents an innovative means of communication, explaining the nature of our facility,” adds Hunter-Hüsselmann.
